Intro
A sitemap is a .xml file that contains meta-information about your website. Sitemaps are used by search engines to get more information about your website. They are used for SEO purposes.
Viewing your Sitemap
You can view your current sitemap by appending /sitemap.xml
to the base URL of your site. For example, your website is www.the.com, you would go to www.the.com/sitemap.xml. The result would be something like this
Configuring your Sitemap
You can specify if a page should be included in your sitemap.xml file or not. To do this,
- Open a Page from the Worksheet
- Expand the Body's corner menu
- Click Attributes
- Type in "Yes" to include the Page's URL in the sitemap or "No" to exclude it
- Deploy your page
Each time you deploy a page, your sitemap gets updated.
